Carolina Sapphire Cypress

Cypress trees are evergreen, with scales instead of leaves, and those of the ‘Carolina Sapphire’ are a silver-blue color. The tree itself has an airy, loose branch structure. While the Cupressus arizonica is native to central and southern Arizona, ‘Carolina Sapphire’ was introduced by Clemson University and has become a very popular variety.
