Bradford

Bradford Sculpture

Bradford, a metal sculpture in front of the Chemistry Building was created by Lila Katzen and given to the University by George Snow, professor of physics from 1958 to 1992, and his wife Lila.1 Born in 1932, in Brooklyn, Katzen began studying painting at the Art Students League. She continued her studies and earned a BFA at The Cooper Union, New York City. Katzen later attended the Hans Hoffman School of Art in New York and Provincetown, MA.2
