Location: Meet on McKeldin Mall
Come join us on an amazing fall day to beautify campus, meet other students, and get outdoors! Volunteers will learn about the importance of waste separation and then have a chance to pick up trash around campus with other student groups. You’ll be making a positive impact for campus while learning lasting sustainability skills. The details follow:
Tentative schedule:
- 9:45am: Registration at McKeldin Mall
- 10:00am: Introduction to waste separation and safety
- 10:30am: Volunteers grouped and move to their assigned locations to clean up campus
- 12:00pm: Volunteers return back to McKeldin for debrief
- 12:30pm: Closing
