White Forsythia
White forsythia, native to the hillsides of the central Korean peninsula, is a small shrub that has intense blooms of fragrant, small clusters of white flowers in early spring. These plants grow very rapidly and require periodic pruning every 3 to 4 years to maintain their shape. Pruning must take place after blooming to maintain new buds and promote stem growth. They are most easily grown in moist, well-drained soils in full sun. They do not tolerate wet conditions.
