Pollinator Week 2026: A Pollinator Procession along the Purple Line - Peeking at Petals, Pollen, and Panoramas

Join the  University of Maryland Bee Campus Committee, Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, and Institute of Applied Agriculture for our 3rd annual tour of pollinator gardens on campus. Expert leaders in horticulture, entomology, green roofs, and conservation landscapes will lead us on a tour of the Knight Hall Pollinator Garden, the green roof of Cole Student Activities Building - Center for Sports Medicine, the new David C. Driskell Center garden, and other pollinator plantings along the purple-line, including the new Karen Lazarus Memorial Pollinator Garden (if time allows).

Learn about new pollinator-friendly changes to our campus landscapes along the purple line and see incredible views from our largest campus green roof.

This tour is open to the public, feel free to add/bring guests.
