Bloodgood London Planetree
The Bloodgood London Planetree (Planatus x acerifolia ‘Bloodgood’) thrives in full sunlight for at least 4 hours a day in areas with moist, acidic, clay soils. This tree grows in a pyramidal shape but as time progresses it takes on an oval shape. It grows green, large leaves with pointy (not sharp) edges and due to its size, it does not do well in areas that are too small. The Bloodgood London Planetree can grow up to 100 feet tall! You can find it in the Clarice Garden here on campus.
