Maryland Public Television, College Park Scholars, The University of Maryland Arboretum and Botanical Garden, and The Indigenous Futures Lab invite you to participate in a discussion of how the rights of natural systems can be taken into account as we manage land.

Weed Warriors on Campus is a volunteer event for UMD students that hosts educational invasive species removal events. We meet every other Wednesday from March to October, weather permitting. During cold months, please wear appropriate warm outdoor clothing.

Join the University Health Center and the UMD Arboretum for an opportunity to participate in a guided hike and mindfulness exercise that encourages participants to be present in the moment by tuning in to our five senses.

Members of the University's Club Baseball team will help cultivate our living campus, but all are welcome to join. Tools and gloves are provided and volunteers should wear close-toed shoes. Volunteer tasks include weeding, planting, pruning, and mulching.
