China Fir
The China fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata), from Central China can be found on the University of Maryland Campus at H.J. Patterson. Along with the needles, the China fir has fruiting cones that are 1.5 inches and are in groups of 1 to 3 cones at a time. The bark of the tree is brown and red. The China fir is a medium maintenance tree and does not have any major pest or disease problems.
